Celsis Accel System for Pharma

Celsis Accel SystemCelsis is proud to announce the new Celsis Accel™ System for Pharma, a rapid microbial screening system designed specifically for Pharmaceutical manufacturers with midrange test volumes.

As the world’s leading innovator in rapid methods, Celsis systems are used globally by leading manufacturers. The Celsis Accel System for Pharma delivers quality control results in just 18–24 hours for Micro Limits Testing and 4-6 days for Sterility Testing, allowing you to more rapidly confirm the quality of your Pharmaceutical products and quickly release to market. Built on over 20 years of providing rapid microbial screening solutions to industry, the Celsis Accel System for Pharma enables you to:

  • Shorten production cycle times
  • Decrease working capital requirements
  • Reduce inventory requirements
  • Decrease safety stock
  • Receive earlier notification in the event of a contamination
  • Reduce warehouse space costs

The Celsis Accel System for Pharma takes the robustness and ease-of-use of the widely adopted Celsis Advance platform packaged into a small footprint system specifically designed for Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities with midrange test volumes. Easy-to-use and easy-to-learn, the Accel System for Pharma features include:

  • Runs up to 30 tests per hour
  • Enhanced system and data security features
  • Remote user access software for accessing or monitoring results from multiple locations
  • Comprehensive data analysis and trend reporting
  • Allows full compliance with the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 and the European Union’s Annex 11

How it works

The Accel System for Pharma runs the selected protocol measuring the light output of the ATP bioluminescence reaction, and then presents the results in a color-coded table or graphical view. Up to four variable-volume reagent injectors ensure accuracy, reduce sample handling and increase flexibility. System throughput runs as high as 30 tests per hour with the option of simultaneously combining multiple batches or protocols into a single run. Additional system specifications:

  • Developed exclusively for industrial microbiology laboratories
  • Product validations for use of the Celsis system have been approved by regulatory agencies worldwide
  • Fully validated on current Microsoft® Windows® operating systems
  • Offline incubation maximizes system throughput
  • Click to start: enjoy walk-away automation
  • Automated data capture and storage, exporting to common database programs, including Excel and Access
  • Customizable security levels
  • Small scale footprint: width x height x depth / 13 x 14.5 x 20.5 in / 33 x 37 x 52 cm

Additional Accel System for Pharma specifications include:

Remote Access: A new, secure ‘Remote User Option’ allows monitoring of product quality testing results from multiple locations and includes full access to a suite of data analysis tools for running queries, reports and data trending analysis from a local or remote network location.

Data Analysis: Accel Pharma.im software provides a powerful suite of tools to manage data archiving, results analysis and reporting including remote user capability. Users and remote users can:

  • Quickly query results to find specific data based on multiple criteria
  • Design and generate graphs for easy data trending analysis
  • Customize and print reports
  • Preview reports on screen as they are built to see the impact of customizations
  • Export reports to common file types such as *.txt, *.csv and others

User Interface: The software utilizes a familiar top-ribbon and drop-down menu design similar to Microsoft Office programs for intuitive, ease-of-use. Reagent levels are easily monitored with a colour-coded graphic display that’s on-screen all the time along with a workload timer.

Carousel Architecture: The 30 position carousel is integrated into a light sealed chamber accessible through a motor actuated door allowing easy access. Offering fast and precise movement, the sample carousel utilizes the familiar tube based platform for maximum flexibility with sample size and sensitivity.

Ergonomic Design: All user accessible features are ergonomically positioned in front of the user for easy access.

Added Security with One Click Lock Out: In addition to the option of locking data once the run begins, users have the ability to lock the application with a single mouse click in order to ensure that the run is uninterrupted.

Fourth Injector Capability: The Accel system ships standard with three injectors but with the option of a fourth injector that gives the system additional flexibility to incorporate new reagent technology.

On Screen Help: Get help information at the touch of a button. A comprehensive topic-based and searchable help file provides on-screen instructions for performing routine tasks as well as detailed information about a range of topics from software customization to user administration.

Modular Electronics: The use of modular electronics simplifies service, customization and upgrading.

Data Export: Accel.im can export an individual batch or the entire workload to an array of file format types used by LIM systems.

User Administration and Security: User administration utility allows efficient management of user access and function permissions by a system manager.

System Log: An unlimited system log records events by each user and maintains the record for the lifetime of the installation to comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 regulatory requirements.

Proven rugged and reliable systems, plus dedicated global support, have made Celsis the industry standard for leading manufacturers around the world.
